Foodie Nirvana At NYC’s Pier 94
A Tasting Event With Incomparable Style

NEW YORK, NY. June 27, 2008 – Starfish Junction Productions, producers of the annual Coffee And Tea Festival NYC announced today that it would be back in town this fall for a very special appearance at TastingsNYC – one of New York City’s largest culinary events. TastingsNYC, a production from the producers of Cook.Eat.Drink.Live. will spotlight the culinary talent of celebrity chefs and top restaurateurs and provide attendees with abundant opportunities to sample specialty food and beverages. The event will take place November 7-9, 2008 at Pier 94 in New York City. WCBS, the event’s media sponsor, will use all TV, radio, and online outlets for promotion.

The Coffee And Tea Festival will join forces with TastingsNYC to deliver the ultimate gastronomic experience for the 15,000+ expected attendees. Designed with several impressive components, the three-day event will include an impressive lineup of talented chefs including Jon Ashton and Ben Pollinger from Oceana and mixologists Junior Merino and Chris Cardone. It will also include an expansive tasting area where attendees will sample delectable delights from area restaurants and caterers, try new food products, and sample amazing beer, wine, and spirits. Additionally, three special pavilions will be created within the scope of the show, the Pan-Asian Pavilion, the FineWaters Pavilion, and the Coffee And Tea Pavilion hosted by the producers of the NYC Coffee And Tea Festival (www.CoffeeAndTeaFestival.com).

TastingsNYC will also have a co-location at Pier94 with the International Chocolate Show, and mirror the same event hours. The partnership with the Chocolate Show is an extraordinary opportunity for TastingsNYC as New York is currently the only United States location for the Chocolate Show. Entry into The Chocolate Show can be coupled with TastingsNYC or available via a separate admission ticket.

Tickets for TastingsNYC event include admission to the cooking demo/staging area; food, beer, wine and spirits tastings; plus admission into and sampling within the Pan-Asian Pavilion, the FineWaters Pavilion, and the Coffee And Tea Pavilion. Tickets will be available for $75 per person with tickets to The Chocolate Show at $28 per person. A special combo ticket will be available at a discounted rate of $100 per person.
