March 13, 2008 – New York, NY – The 3rd annual Coffee and Tea Festival NYC will help introduce a new coffee from Mexico. The third annual Coffee and Tea Festival will be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion in NYC on April 12-13, 2008 and will include Café La Paz as a featured exhibitor.

The two day festival will feature everything related to coffee and tea and will offer attendees the opportunity to sample different coffees and teas from around the world—including a wonderful new treat from Café La Paz. Attendees will also be impressed with the lineup of guest lecturers and topics, including: Tea Blending by Nini Ordoubadi of Tay Tea, Afternoon Tea for Fun and Profit led by Ellen Easton, Cooking with Coffee presented by food historian and cookbook author Francine Segan, Coffee- and Tea-infused cocktails demo by Kara Newman with guest mixologist Benoit Cornet of Sanctuary Tea. Plus, Japanese Tea Master Yoshikazu Tafu will present the Art of Japanese Tea. This ceremony is sponsored by TAFU NY.

In addition to being at tremendous exhibitor and sponsorship opportunity, and a delightful way for visitors to spend the day, the 3rd Annual Coffee & Tea Festival: NYC will help raise funds and awareness for Cup for Education, the official charity of the event. Cup for Education helps the poor and rural coffee communities of Central and Latin America build schools within their communities and provide the basic tools needed to educate the future generations of coffee farmers.

Goodie bags will distributed to attendees each day and include samples from Adagio Tea, Teeccino Coffee, Celestial Seasonings, Chopsticks Magazine, Bali’s Best Candies, Omoma Coffee, Wholesome Sweetners, and others. Tickets are on sale now. Visit www.coffeeandteafestival.com for more details. Limited exhibitor opportunities remain. Inquiries should be made immediately to 631-940-7290.
