Orange County Beer Expo, July 24 Selected as Samuel Adams Beer Lover's Choice Polling Place

Cuddebackville, NY. July 6, 2010 - The 2nd Annual International Great Beer Expo being held at the Neversink Valley Area Museum in Cuddebackville, NY from 2-6pm on July 24, 2010 has been selected as an official polling place for the 2010 Samuel Adams Beer Lover's Choice national taste test.

Since 2005 the brewers of Samuel Adams have been offering drinkers a voice in choosing one of the new beers they will introduce in the coming year. This summer the trend continues as the Boston Beer Company, the makers of Samuel Adams, will take two recipes on the road to be judged in a head-to-head consumer taste test. Among the first stops on the tour will be The International Great Beer Expo at the Neversink Valley Area Museum, an official polling place for the 2010 Beer Lover's Choice competition. The 2010 contestants are: (SAMPLE A) Belgian Style IPA and (SAMPLE B) American Rye Ale. Attendees at this year's Beer Expo will be invited to sip both samples and then cast their vote by official ballot for the national taste test competition. Once the 2010 nation-wide polling is closed, the Boston Beer Company will announce a winner and begin preparations to bring the winning recipe to market for all to enjoy.

The International Great Beer Expo, an annual fundraiser for the Neversink Valley Area Museum, will showcase more than 25 international breweries from across the globe, each presenting their finest brews for sampling-more than 50 beers in all. A pay-one-price ticket allows adults 21+ to enjoy a fun day of beer sampling, beer education, and live music performed by the local band Eight Days of Blues.
