Valley Forge Beer Fest Returns, December 7, 2013
More than 50 Breweries to Exhibit, a Sell-Out is Expected
OAKS, PA-September 26, 2013 - The producers of the award-winning Philly Craft Beer Festival return to the Philadelphia area with the third annual Valley Forge Beer Fest being held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, PA. The event will feature an incredible variety of beers from the local area, from across the country, and from around the globe. Tickets are on sale now at www.ValleyForgeBeerFest.com
More than 50 breweries will be filling the Expo Center, serving up samples of their proudest brewing achievements-more than 100 beers in all. Festival attendees are also invited to sit in on educational and entertaining programming sessions led by industry pros and cover topics as varied as home brewing, women in beer, and how to start a brewery. Special timed releases will offer festival attendees an opportunity to try rare and limited-edition beers.
The event will help raise funds for the CBC, Committee to Benefit the Children, a local charity that provides resources for treatment, care and family support to benefit area children with cancer, leukemia and serious blood disorders. The CBC will be conducting a food drive at the event to help those in need during the holiday season.
The Valley Forge Beer Festival (www.ValleyForgeBeerFest.com) will have two sessions: 12:30-4:00pm and 5:30-9:00pm. A limited number of tickets will be sold. Once the event sells out, no additional tickets will be available for purchase. A sell-out is expected. Advance purchase is strongly recommended for guaranteed admission. Tickets are $40 each and can be purchased at the event website www.ValleyForgeBeerFest.com. Tickets include admission to the festival, a souvenir tasting glass, an opportunity to attend the event's programming and the freedom to enjoy a 2 oz. sample of any of the beers at the festival. Designated driver tickets are $10 each. No one under 21, including designated drivers, will be admitted and all attendees must show valid photo ID for entry. Food will be available for sale. The Greater Philadelphia Expo Center (www.phillyexpocenter.com) is located at 100 Station Avenue, Oaks, PA, 19456. The Expo Center offers free on-site parking.
