Spring Craft Beer Fest Returns to Nassau Coliseum, March 22

February 12, 2014-Uniondale, N.Y. - Starfish Junction is proud to announce that the 8th Annual Spring Craft Beer Festival will be returning to Nassau Veteran Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, Long Island, N.Y. on Saturday, March 22nd. More than 50 craft breweries will be in attendance, pouring samples of their finest brews-more than 100 in all. Tickets for the Festival are on sale now at the event website This is a 21+ event.

"With more than 100 beers available for sampling, this year's festival is going to be our best fest yet," said Joe Chierchie, event manager for show producer, Starfish Junction. Sought-after breweries such as Blue Point Brewing Company, Goose Island Beer Co., Adirondack Brewery, and Harpoon Brewery will be holding special timed releases of their rarest ales. Due to their limited supply, these special beers will only be poured at designated times and available for tasting on a first-come, first-served basis. Thousands are estimated to attend the event and the festival is trending for another sell out this year. A silent disco, sponsored by Shipyard Brewing Co. will add to the day's festivities as will the Beer For Brains sports memorabilia art auction fundraiser conducted by Grand Stand Sports.

Making their festival debut will be two new New York State breweries: Roscoe Beer Co. and Singlecut Beersmiths. "We are very excited that this year's Spring Craft Beer Festival will be our Long Island Festival debut," said Tera Luty, Manager, Roscoe Beer Co. "We are looking forward to introducing our Trout Town American Amber Ale to everyone who attends. Besides our great flagship brew, I'm sure our Brew Master, Josh Hughes has a recipe up his sleeve that will be sure to please."

The Spring Craft Beer Festival raises money and awareness for organizations such as The Beers for Brains Foundation, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and Motivational Recovery Environments (MoRE). The event is sponsored in part by, Long Island's local beer calendar.

The festival will be divided into two (2) sessions. Session I will take place between 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm; Session II will be held from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm.
