More than fifty world-class craft breweries will gather on August 8th at the Calverton Links Golf Course to participate in the 2015 North Fork Craft Beer Festival. The festival will include a broad range of nationally recognized craft beer industry leaders as well as many of Long Island's award-winning hometown favorites.

Beer seminars are a great way to learn more about beer styles, the current beer scene, and various brewing methods. This year's festival lineup will include topics as varied as:

Included on the panel will be new breweries making their festival debut: Bobby Rodriguez, Brewer Master and Founder of Po' Boy Brewing; Brian Baker, Brew Master of Bellport Brewing Co., Lee Kaplan, CEO and Brewer of Lithology Brewing; and Charlie Becker, Owner and President of 1940's Brewing Co.

Cellaring Beer - learn from experts about which beers get better with age and which to drink now.

Beer & Chocolate Pairing - the owner of Parfections Chocolate will give a tutored tasting, pairing three chocolates with three beers.

New this year, the event will feature a great selection of food trucks, sure to satisfy every craving and pair well with the craft beers at the event. Food trucks will offer great variety and delicious options for sale. This year's lineup includes celebrity chef Gail Chandler and the creative southern Italian gourmet treats from her On The Scene Cuisine truck, plus Nice Buns Slammin' Sliders, Grill Boys, and Noah's On The Road.

The event will help to raise funds for Kids Need More (Motivational Recovery Environments, Inc.), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It is one of the only camps of its kind to serve child cancer patients and siblings. www.kidsneedmore.org
