“The Philly beer community has really rallied around this festival, they have since the very first festival we hosted, eleven years ago,” said Andy Calimano, owner of event producer, Starfish Junction. “While we’ve seen over a decade of changes in the beer scene, yet the one thing that has remained constant is the immeasurable passion and enthusiasm displayed by the people of Philadelphia. They sure do love their craft beer. They come out in record numbers each year to raise a glass with friends and colleagues at the Philly Craft Beer Festival,” added Calimano.
Certified Cicerone, Scott Pflug, joined the staff of Starfish Junction Productions earlier this year and is busy working on pulling together the most impressive list of craft beers the show has ever offered. Philly’s most popular food trucks will be there offering an amazing variety of street food for sale at the event.
The 11th annual Philly Craft Beer Festival will be held outdoors under tents, rain, snow, or shine on March 4, 2017 at the Philadelphia Navy Yard located at 4747 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19112. The Navy Yard is easily accessible by SEPTA and offers free on-site parking. Complimentary shuttle bus service will be provided for festival attendees from the Broad & Pattison SEPTA station to the festival.
