“Attendees are in for a real treat this year,” said event manager, Kristyn Dolan. “They’ll see many of their favorite exhibitors who have returned again this year and some great new and innovative companies who are joining us for the first time.” Featured exhibitors include: Ippodo Tea; Sail Away Coffee Co.; Teavana; Chameleon Cold Brew; Caskai; local Brooklynites El Voyage coffee and Miss Tea; Oren's Daily Roast; Pekant Tea Company, Wandering Bear Coffee; plus the 2018 Global Tea Championship Winner SerendipiTea, and Sunniva Super Coffee who last week appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank. “There will be samples of coffees, teas, honeys, and even some deliciously dunkable treats that can be enjoyed with coffee and tea. It’s going to be a great day for the thousands of visitors who join in on the fun,” boasts Dolan.
The event will also feature educational and entertaining seminars, some free, some require small materials fee and pre-registration. The seminars cover a variety of topics including: tea etiquette, brewing the perfect cup of coffee at home, Chinese tea, pairing tea and honey, DIY beauty products using tea, and more. For attendees looking to get into the tea business or those in the food and beverage industry looking to continue their education and/or add tea to their offerings, TeaCourse.com producer Gail Gastelu will be offering Tea Course Fast Track, a half-day seminar teaching participants about Camellia sinensis, the tea experience, tea uses and health benefits, and much more.
