Uniondale, NY. (October 22, 2019) –The Great Beer Expo will return to NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, on November 2. This year’s event will showcase local, national, and international breweries, offering more than 100 beers for sampling, plus a special selection of wines and ciders. Based on the success of last year’s event, a sell-out is expected.
The biggest names in brewing are excited to be joining in on the festivities. This year’s beer tasting extravaganza will showcase breweries from around the corner, around the country, and around the globe. The pay-one-price general admission ticket includes all beer tastings.
“This year’s beer lineup could be our best yet,” said event producer, Andy Calimano, owner of Starfish Junction Productions. “The interest in this event keeps growing year to year, that’s a trend we are very proud of. We have both loyal attendees, exceptional exhibitors and supportive brewers to thank for that. This year we are pulling out all the stops.” he added.
Featured breweries in this year’s lineup include local favorites: Blue Point Brewing Company, Oyster Bay Brewing Co., Great South Bay Brewery, Port Jeff Brewing Company, Long Ireland Beer Company, Bridge and Tunnel Brewery, and Mikkeller NYC; national award-winners including: Samuel Adams (MA), Founders Brewing (MI), Cascade Brewing (OR), DuClaw Brewing Co. (MD), Magic Hat Brewing Company (VT), Sufferfest Beer Company (CA); and international best-sellers including: Guinness (Ireland), Delirium Brewery (Belgium), and Weihenstephan (Germany). More than 50 breweries will be in attendance pouring samples of their best-sellers and special releases. NEW THIS YEAR: The Pumpkin Patch, a special area serving special pumpkin beers from Montauk Brewing Company, Spring House Brewing Company, and Leinenkugel’s. Kids Need More will be conducting a holiday toy drive to collect donations for their HOLIDAY CHEER BUS that delivers toys to over 250 local children dealing with serious illness. All those who donate a toy will receive a raffle ticket and have a chance to win a special prize pack of event tickets.
